Outfit ideas for Japanese party?

my friend is having a japanese themed leaving party, and its fancy dress. I don't want to go in full fancy dress. some people are going as characters out of Japanese movies or the cartoon character things and some people are doing just clothing with Japanese patterns on, or a loose interpretation of a geisha (like black hair) I don't know what to do! does anyone know any sites that may sell oriental patterned clothing or even any ideas as what to go as or style tips ect. help would be appreciated!
