Compared with the decision in a Supreme Court case, the opinion is more significant because it:?

C. The decision basically says "This is how it is." The opinions say "This is how we arrived at our decision." Supreme Court decisions are binding on every court in the U.S., so they must be viewed and applied very carefully because each case is different and the different facts and cirstances can greatly affect whether the Supreme Court decision actually applies to a case being decided by a lower court.
